The design is simple yet very clever and will ensure superb results when fishing for any predator that naturally targets eel or lamprey. Just fish it with a cast and retrieve with the odd twitch and pause, and you ll be amazed. The long tail is attached by a corkscrew mount and makes the lure rock enticingly from side to side leaving a great eel-like tail trailing behind. When the tail is screwed in tail down position the up force of the tail will push the head of the lure down, so it will run just under the surface at more or less the same depth all the way back. Turn the tail into tail down position and it will force the head up, bringing the lure right to the surface, creating a super wake effect.
