Next level two stage rod security for extreme snag fishing and the most powerful carp the Butt Lock Xtreme uses the famous cam locking mechanism of the original Butt Lock, with a secondary locking system to provide rock solid support.
Once the rod butt is secure in the closed cams the locking lever locates over the top and clips into position, retaining the rod until it is lifted by the angler to strike a take and open the cam lock arms. Tested all over Europe, even the mighty Rainbow Lake s carp could not shift rods clamped in the Butt Lock Xtreme.
Critically the Xtreme Butt Lock guarantees grip whatever angle the rod butt is located, for complete confidence whether fishing bottle rigs or tips up to keep line away from obstacles.
