The European Sturgeon is a prehistoric fish of the sturgeon family. It is a catadromous euryhaline fish, meaning it lives in both fresh and saltwater. In Europe it is present along the Atlantic coastline, from Spain to Norway and sparsely in the Mediterranean and Black Seas. This species reaches impressive sizes and can surpass 4 meters in length and 300kg in weight. Sturgeon are covered in characteristic bony plates or scutes in rows on the back, sides and belly and has sensitive barbels near the mouth which it uses to localize food. It feeds mainly on crustaceans and mollusks. It is a critically endangered species along with other members of its family. Several countries have started conservation and reintroduction projects to help stabilize the species populations.

Delivery

We provide free postage and packaging on most orders. Depending on the item, it will be shipped with either Royal Mail or DHL. Please note orders made after 8am will be despatched the next working day. Both our postal services are tracked and tracking numbers are provided. Please Note: The Royal Mail Tracking Number is a delivered Tracking and will not advise where the package is during the delivery process.  It advises once delivery has been made with a GPS delivery position.  The DHL tracking is a live tracking number and can be tracked via the DHL website.  If you have any issues with tracking numbers or receiving your item, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Returns Policy

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please send it back to us in its original packaging and in an un-used condition within 30 days of receiving your item. When completing the returns from, please provide as much detail as possible. We aim to refund or resolve all returns with 48 hours. If you have received the wrong item or would need to report a faulty one please contact us via the messaging service.
